There were so many great things about today!  Not sure if I can bring light to them all, but I am sure going to try!

Ron’s 1-year Anniversary at Oakland County CrossFit

Today is Ron’s 1-year Anniversary with Oakland County CrossFit.  Something that might pass most of us by, was remembered and honored by Ron!   When I got home tonight from a great day at the box I logged onto FaceBook and the first post I saw was Ron’s:

I have been officially training CrossFit, full time for one year today at Oakland County CrossFit. Over the past year I’ve had a ton of fun while training the hardest I’ve ever trained in my life, and have met a lot of great people in the CrossFit world. Thank you Matt and Andrea Martinec for everything you’ve done!! RIP \m/ETAL!!”

We cannot say how honored we are to have you at OCCF!  You have a good drive to get to us, you have crazy hours at work, and you could potentially do most CF workouts on your own at work.  BUT, you have faith in us to push you to be better.  I think we figured out today that we have doubled your overhead squat in the last year!  I think that is pretty good work.  Thanks for being apart of our CrossFit Family!

1 Year Ago Galloway got his First Muscle Up!

That’s right one year ago we had our first member of the Muscle Up Club!  Josh was president, treasure and secretary.  I bet those meetings were fun to watch!  Now he has coached many of our current muscle up members including: Rehif, Aaron, Brad, Tom, Ron, Russell, and Jason!   What a journey and thanks for helping so many people achieve this great CrossFit move.  :)
