Intro Packages

The final step before joining our regular group classes is to complete one of a few different introductory programs we run. The mobility assessment helps us recommend the most sensible path into group classes for you as an individual. The path we recommend depends on a host of factors, the most important being your current level of fitness. Other considerations include, your attitude, health history, schedule and anything else that may indicate one program is more suited to you than the others.

Our goal is to select the best option for you to hit the ground running and be successful right off the bat in our regular group classes. All of the options have many things in common. Each is designed to teach you the fundamentals of CrossFit, taught by experienced coaches working one on one (or in a small group) with you to address your unique needs. In addition to teaching you proper mechanics, movements and skills for things that you'll see in classes, we strive to begin cultivating a healthy mindset.

The mental side of training is as important (and vastly more so for the elite athlete or armed forces member) as any latent ability your body may have to accomplish physical work. Your attitude, thoughts, listening ability, confidence and situational awareness have direct effects on your training and results. This is to say nothing of the discipline and mental toughness required to willingly go to a place known to us lovingly as "The Suck".. and then go back, five or six times a week.. sometimes two or three times a day.

So the introduction sessions are designed to begin addressing all these things in addition to building the foundations of correct and consistent movement, physical conditioning and nutrition. The specifics vary but they run from anywhere between two to four weeks and involve anywhere from four to twelve personal or small group (two-three people) training sessions.
